Blood, sweat and cron
The machine was never the problem. Somebody kept feeding it people.
About
There were humans. Then machines. Then people to work the machines, and people stuffed inside them. In 1770 a Hungarian built a chess machine with a man folded into the cabinet. It went on to beat Napoleon. Most automation is still that box. A machine out front, some poor bastard in the dark behind it. I'd rather rip the human out and go to bed. The quotes go out at 2am. The newsletter sends itself. The trading agent watches the market all night and hits the buy button. Nobody's in the box.
